Lou Ann Hunter Kirk and I just got back from our trip to Tannehill State Park for the Batson Bladesmith Symposium. Had a great time visiting with our friends and watching demos. There was a knife making contest and I came in 4th. Glad that there was only 4 of us in the competition. 😆.
Dr. Batson got to come by for a short visit. He looks good for his age but his age has slowed him down. I got his last book and hope to read it this week. He “Always” does a great job on his books.
Cary and Richard got to make it again and was very happy to spend a lot of time with them. Already looking forward to next year. 👍

Just about finished with these 7. Last step in a coat of Renaissance wax. The Trail of Tears model will no longer have the Cherokee seal inlaid in handle since production of the seal has been discontinued. Price is 2 big bills and there will be a 20% discount to military, LEO’s, and EMT’s.

FORGED IN FIRE GRUDGE MATCHES ARE DISCONTINUED. I had gotten the information last year but have forgotten to post it. We had a lot of fun and got to meet a lot of great people during the Grudge Matches.
