FIRST TEAM ALL-AMERICAN. 🇺🇸🔥
Today we’re celebrating one of our own.
A huge congratulations to Mia Hill on earning First Team All-American honors in the long jump at the NCAA Division III National Championships!
Competing against the best athletes in the country, Mia jumped an incredible 19’ 0.75” to secure All-American status and cap off an unforgettable senior season at Salisbury University.
And here’s what’s even more impressive…
19’ 0.75” isn’t even her personal best.
If you’ve seen Mia training at G.R.I.T., you know how hard she works. Summer after summer. Holiday break after holiday break. She’s a familiar face in our gym, putting in the work whenever she’s home.
But those workouts here are only a small part of the story.
What most people don’t see are the countless hours she has spent on the track, in the sand pit, in the weight room at Salisbury, and everywhere in between. The early mornings, the long practices, the sacrifices, and the relentless commitment required to compete at the national level.
That kind of success isn’t built in a day, a season, or a single gym.
It’s built through years of dedication.
As Mia closes the chapter on an incredible collegiate athletic career, we’re proud not only of what she’s accomplished as an athlete, but of who she is as a person. Her work ethic, humility, consistency, and determination have made her someone we’re honored to call part of the G.R.I.T. family.
While her days of collegiate competition may be behind her, we know this is far from the end of her journey. Whether she’s pursuing her master’s degree, a doctorate, or whatever challenge comes next, we have no doubt she’ll continue to accomplish amazing things.
Congratulations, Mia. Thank you for letting us be a small part of your story. We’re proud of you, we’re grateful to have you back home with us, and we’ll be cheering for you wherever life takes you next.
💙💛
