I’m honored to be an ambassador with Complete Runner and New Balance as we gear up for the Crim Festival of Races—one of Michigan’s premier running events, featuring distances for every runner, from the Teddy Bear Trot and Michigan Mile to the 5K, 10-Mile, and Half Crim. It’s a weekend that celebrates community, perseverance, and the joy of running.

18 miles you say? My body said absolutely not. Not every training day goes according to plan and you must remember to listen to your body. Mine was giving me all the cues that it was getting hot and overheated and I’m not out of here trying to have a heat stroke So I backed off the gas ran at 10 1/2 miles and then walked to the rest of the way back to my start point for a total of 13.
