We've all said it. "Just one more trail ride."
October is slipping away, riding days are growing shorter, and
the trees are losing their colorful leaves. The mornings are getting colder, and our horses are sporting those thick, fuzzy winter coats that make us want to bury our faces in their necks for just one more hug. And somehow, every ride feels a little more special this time of year.
At Geitner Homestead Equine Campground, October's final days are always a little bittersweet. As another camping season comes to a close, we look back on the miles we've ridden, the friendships we've strengthened, the new friends we've welcomed, and the memories we've made together.
There will always be trails waiting for us next season, but these particular moments, these rides, and these beautiful autumn days will never come again quite the same way.
If you get the chance, saddle up. Take the long way around. Stop to enjoy the view. Laugh with your friends. Give your horse an extra pat. And when someone asks if you're ready to head back, smile and say...
"How about just one more trail ride?"
Thank you to everyone who made another season at Geitner Homestead so special. We can't wait to welcome you back for more trails, more laughter, and more memories next year!

Leaves Are Falling, Trails Are Calling!
Can you hear it? That gentle whisper of autumn calling you back to the trails.
The leaves are turning brilliant shades of red, orange, and gold. The air is crisp, the woods are peaceful, and our horses are getting fluffier with every passing day.
There's something magical about riding through the woods as the leaves gently float down around you. Some land on your hat, some settle into your horse's mane, and others dance across the trail before becoming a colorful carpet beneath those hooves.
At Geitner Homestead Equine Campground, autumn is one of our favorite times of year. The wooded trails are dressed in their fall colors, the scenery is breathtaking, and every ride reminds us how lucky we are to share these moments with our horses.
So, pull on your favorite sweater, grab your boots, saddle up that fuzzy friend, and head out to enjoy the beauty of the season.
Because before we know it, the leaves will be gone, the trails will grow quiet, and we'll be dreaming of those beautiful autumn rides all winter long.
The leaves may be falling, but the memories we're making will last forever.

Pumpkins & Ponies — A Little Autumn Magic!
Who needs pumpkin spice when you've got pumpkin patches and pony kisses?
There's something extra special about fall on the farm. The pumpkins are everywhere, the leaves are dancing in the breeze, and our four-legged friends are wondering what all these funny orange things are doing in their pasture!
Some horses are curious. Some are suspicious. And some are convinced those pumpkins must be hiding something delicious inside!
It's the season of fuzzy winter coats starting to grow, cool noses looking for treats, and those adorable little moments that remind us why we love our horses so much.
At Geitner Homestead Equine Campground, autumn brings its own kind of magic. From our cornfield trails to the beautiful, wooded trails dressed in fall colors, there's always something to make us smile.
Pumpkins, ponies, falling leaves, and memories that last a lifetime. That's our kind of autumn!

Sweater Weather & Saddle Leather!
There's something special about those crisp autumn mornings when you pull on your favorite cozy sweater, slip into your riding boots, and head out to greet your horse.
The air has a little chill, the leaves are showing off their beautiful colors, and your horse seems to have just a little extra pep in their step!
It's the perfect time of year to saddle up, breathe in that fresh fall air, and enjoy the peaceful beauty of the woods.
And when the ride is over? There's nothing better than gathering around a warm campfire, wrapping up in a cozy blanket, sharing stories with friends, and enjoying a hot cup of something delicious.
At Geitner Homestead Equine Campground, we love everything about sweater weather. The beautiful trails, the cool mornings, the warm campfires, and especially the friendships and memories made along the way.
Because autumn isn't just about the changing leaves. It's about slowing down, enjoying the little things, and spending time doing what you love with the people and horses who make life special.
Cozy rides. Crisp air. Good friends. Great memories.
