Thank you for all the heart touching and warm sentiments and condolences! I am overflowing with gratitude and appreciation for this beautiful community and all the precious memories and connections made! I plan to respond to each and every beautiful treasured message however at this time I am under the clock to pack up and move out of the studio space. When I am settled I will start to rebuild my new venture. We are hosting a “Safe Distance Liquidation Sale” today at the studio from 11-6. Please come with a mask, wait in the lot to be waved in, two people at a time to enter. A wide range of goodies await, miscellaneous housewares, dance wear, shoes, art, decorations, party supplies, file cabinet, business display items and more! Dear Students & Families,
I write this letter to you today with a heavy heart as I have decided to close the brick & mortar studio, known as Dancin’ On The Door in Egg Harbor. The overhead to run this studio has been challenging to meet as most Door County entrepreneurs know how difficult that can be and has finally taken its toll with the Coronavirus situation.
I want to thank all of my students and families who have supported me through this six year run. The memories & fondness for all the students, friends, & parents who supported & shared in our love of dance at Dancin’ On The Door are cherished beyond what words can say.
I will be continuing to teach dance in other ways whether virtually, privately, mobile, or at other venues. I have taught dance in Door County for 25 years and do not plan on stopping now.
Costumes that were ordered before the coronavirus were already in production and cannot be refunded as the costume companies themselves have stopped production, they will fulfill the order and be shipped when done. We will notify families when they arrive to arrange for pick up. I’m sorry that I cannot change this but that is how the costume companies’ policies are.
I hope that all of you are staying happy & healthy during this challenging time. Please let me know if you have any questions and I look forward to being able to offer dance classes in the very near future.

COVID-19 Update, March 24, 2020

Dear Patrons, Dance Parents and Students,
Thank you for being part of the Dancin’ On The Door and The Fibonacci Salon and Studio Family. We value your business and we take very seriously the responsibilities we have to our dance students and families and to our community. At this time, we must proceed with and follow state requirements to close our doors for business until further notice.

Dear Patrons, Dance Parents and Students,

Thank you for being part of the Dancin’ On The Door Family. We take very seriously the responsibilities we have to our dance students and families and to our community. At this time, it has become very difficult to determine how best to navigate through these unchartered times we are now in. We must proceed with what we believe to be most responsible and the best decisions at this time.

Dancin’ On The Door has made the decision to cancel all children and adult classes, closing on Monday, March 16, 2020. We plan to resume normal classes beginning Monday, April 6, 2020 and will keep you posted to confirm this. We believe this closure will allow for more time to understand the COVID-19 situation and will help increase social distancing in an effort to minimize the risk of exposure amongst our students and families.

At this point, our dress rehearsal and recital are still on schedule for May 2 & 3 and we may need to offer some additional rehearsal times to prepare students.

Workshops scheduled for SWY on Wednesday, March 18th are canceled at this time and may be rescheduled for a future date.
