Dojo Etiquette: let the sensei know in advance When you go to another dojo and it is your first time, you greet the head sensei and introduce yourself, and ask if you may practice. You extend this common courtesy because you are a guest. 1. Be on time
2. Ask the head instructor for permission to participate
3. Ask about and pay any required visitors fee
4. Adopt a humble attitude – you are there to learn
5. Work hard
6. Remember you are representing your Dojo and Sensei when you visit, be respectful to All
7. Thank the head instructor and any other instructors after class has ended
