You have 50 minutes. You don’t have to figure out a single exercise.
Here’s what a typical strength training session looks like at Core Principles:
First, you arrive and get welcomed in.
No wandering around. No wondering where to start.
Then, your coach takes you through the plan.
Every session is designed around your goals, experience, and current ability.
Throughout the workout, your coach is right there.
Watching your movement. Answering questions. Adjusting exercises when needed.
Knee feeling sensitive? We modify it.
Back not loving a position? We change it.
Need a little more support or a simpler version? We’ve got one.
You’ll be challenged, but not thrown into the deep end.
The goal is not to leave exhausted or wondering why you paid someone to ruin your afternoon.
The goal is to leave feeling like you did something meaningful for your strength and still feel capable afterward.
That might mean:
Getting up from a chair more easily
Feeling steadier on stairs
Carrying groceries with less effort
Having more confidence walking, traveling, or keeping up with family
This is what we’ve been doing for the last 12 years with adults 50+ who:
Haven’t exercised in years
Feel intimidated by traditional gyms
Have knees, hips, backs, or balance concerns
Want to get stronger without guessing what to do
Core Principles now serves the community from two locations:
📍 Stamford: 3001 Summer Street
📍 Norwalk: 698 West Avenue, opening this fall
If you’re interested in Stamford, or want information about joining our Norwalk Founding Members List, comment START and tell us Stamford or Norwalk.
We’ll send you the right next step and explain exactly how getting started works.
