Meet Pat!👋🏻
Pat started her fitness journey with Elevation as a way to add more strength 💪to her Iron Man training routine of running, biking, and swimming. She started with the Ski Conditioning⛷️ class taught by Kelly Risse when he was fresh out of PT school!
Pat has been hooked on our classes ever since! She takes several different types throughout the week from Cardio Strength to Barre. These days, instead of Iron Man training, Pat uses our classes to develop and maintain strength to support her daily life and other physical activities. She says Gentle Yoga 🧘especially helps her feel grounded and slow down. In her words, “The instructors are all awesome and understand adaptions students need due to their individual situation. The community of friends in each class is so supportive. We have all built great friendships at Elevation and PTA.“
When not in the Elevation studio, Pat loves being outdoors! She runs, walks, hikes, and bikes frequently. She is also an avid open water rower🚣♂️! Having had a heart transplant in September of 2014, Pat says, ”I am especially appreciative of the new opportunity to continue to do the active things I have always done with Elevation’s classes as part of those adventures.”
