Raise your hand if you want to spend the weekend meal prepping! 😀

Yeah, me either.

A lot of folks think "meal prep" means having all your meals ready to go for the week. It's doesn't have to be that tough.

Meal prep just means having a head start. Cooked protein in the fridge. Washed fruit ready to grab. Veggies already chopped.

That's it. When the work is done ahead of time, you don't have to be motivated at 6pm. You just have to open the fridge.

A few basics that make the biggest difference:

Batch cook your protein. Grill a bunch of chicken thighs, make a pot of taco meat, bake some salmon, hard boil a dozen eggs. Pick one or do all four. Use it all week.

Prep your produce the day you shop. Wash it, cut it, store it. Front of the fridge. If it's ready, you'll eat it.

And don't overlook the shortcuts. Rotisserie chicken, pre-cut veggies, frozen fruit, bagged salad kits. The store did the work. You just have to buy it.
