Congratulations to Coach Lehrke on receiving this prestigious honor in recognition of his lasting contributions to wrestling. His influence extends far beyond athletic achievement, as he has helped shape the lives of numerous athletes, fostering both excellence on the mat and success in life.

NEW: Class of 2026 George Martin Wrestling Hall of Fame Inductee: Eric Lehrke

We are pleased to announce our next Class of 2026 George Martin Wrestling Hall of Fame inductee is Eric Lehrke. A successful wrestler, coach and official for more than 30 years, the highlights from his strong nomination include:

-1982 WIAA Individual State Runner-Up and member of DC Everest State Championship team that year
-3 year letter winner at University of Minnesota
-30 year head coach DC Everest where he led the team to a 1994 D1 WIAA Team State Runner Up finish
-11 WIAA State Individual Champions, 30 State Place Winners and 42 Conference Champions
-Wisconsin Wrestling Federation Coach and district rep
-30 years of officiating at all 3 levels of NCAA College wrestling

Perhaps equally important is Eric's demeanor. He is humble, selfless and does not seek accolades or recognition for his efforts in growing our sport, but instead merely seeks to have a positive impact on the lives he helps develop through the sport of wrestling.

This week’s Youth Wrestler of the Week is… 🥁🥁🥁

💫 Rudy Beltran!

Rudy, a 5th grader, had an outstanding performance last weekend at the Edgar Tournament, bringing home a 1st place finish! On his way to the top of the podium, Rudy recorded 1 pin, 2 tech falls, and 1 major decision, all while not giving up a single point all day. 🏅

Rudy is always energetic and leads by example in the practice room and on the mat. He will also be one of the wrestlers representing D.C. Everest at Youth Qualifiers next weekend.

DC Everest Youth Wrestling had a strong showing this past Saturday at the Edgar Youth Wrestling Tournament with 24 wrestlers competing! It was great to see the hard work and effort from our wrestlers this late in the season. 💪
