Sardis - Ohio Community Center The Sardis Community Center (formerly Sardis Elementary School) is owned and operated by the Lee Township Trustees.

Sardis CARES is a fund-raising committee for the community center and administers this page. Following the closure of Sardis Elementary School, the Lee Township trustees purchased the building and grounds. Their intent was to keep the building and the grounds for the use of the community. The grounds include a basketball court, playground, and softball field. The building will be utilized for offi

ce space rental and rentals for one-time events. The center will serve the community for entertainment, education and other events that will benefit the good of the community. Contact

Sheriff Derek Norman and Deputy Eric Yonley visited the Senior Citizens at their Tuesday lunch at the community center.

After a helpful presentation about avoiding scams, they shared interesting facts regarding their department. For instance, did you know they have a 90% success rate in solving crimes in the county? A question and answer period followed. It was an informative program.
