I can’t let this girl move on to exciting new opportunities without shining a light on what she’s been up to at Prodigy these past eight months! 💪✨
Aleesia signed up at Prodigy last November and immediately fell in love with Pilates and Cycle. In addition to those classes, she also started personal training with me for strength training. After several foundational weeks, she quickly started increasing her weights as her strength improved.
When we started personal training, Aleesia and I also had a nutrition consultation to help her get organized in that department. She immediately began making healthy changes in her eating habits — increasing her water intake, focusing on lean protein (and logging to make sure she hit her protein goal), and incorporating foods rich in micronutrients and fiber like fruits, veggies, and whole grains.
Her consistency in both nutrition and the gym has absolutely reflected in her progress. In February, we shifted her strength training program to become more glute-focused and introduced the hip thrust. She started with banded hip thrusts… and last week she hit TEN reps at 315 lbs!
In addition to gaining incredible strength and endurance, Aleesia has lost 30 pounds.
I am so proud of her dedication to becoming stronger and healthier since making the decision to start back in November. While we’re so sad to see her leave Prodigy, we are so excited for her new adventure. More importantly, she’s leaving with the tools, confidence, discipline, and commitment to fitness that she’s built into her lifestyle.
We wish you the very best, Aleesia — and lots more gains ahead! ❤️💪🏽
