When we keep our legs straight in a forward fold it forces us to have to bend from the spine, which overtime is really damaging to the vertebrae.
Instead focus on the alignment of your bone structure, and this will be a completely different experience.
When you bend your knees, you can move from the very top of your thighs, which creates a hinging of the hips, a tilting forward of the pelvis, allowing the spine to stay long as you extend forward.
Save this and try it in your next practice! 🔥
