Pushing through on "hard" days, makes a huge difference, but also listening to your body and resting when needed is important! 🫶

I haven't attempted this pole skill for a hot minute because last time I did, you may have guessed, I landed right on my face 😵

I was so nervous this time but my hype gal in the background made it totally worth it! ♥︎

My toddler is absolutely obsessed with everything at the studio!
Trying different things to incorporate in our Verto Littles class has been so fun, and we are excited to begin our Verto Little classes in June 🧸

These classes will be once a week and 45 minutes long. They will include parent participation that gives the adult a nice little workout, while also focusing on building the child's skills in socialization, coordination, and more!

We will include many tools, like the ones in the video, plus a tumble mat and more.

Classes will start June 2nd at 10:00am!
(We only have 5 spots left in this class, so get registered now!)

One of our students having fun trying new shapes and holds ✨️

Pole is constantly fluid and almost every "trick" or "skill" has the ability to be adjusted for every person's preferences and body abilities!

Love pole… but not the bruises? 😅

Welcome to the not-so-glamorous side of pole — bruises, tenderness, and sore spots that come with learning new skills 💪

The good news? Recovery is part of the process 👇

✨ Our go-to: Arnica Cream
It helps reduce swelling, soothe sore muscles, and speed up healing so you can get back to training feeling your best.

But don’t forget the basics too:
✔️ Ice early
✔️ Stay hydrated
✔️ Fuel your body with nutrients
✔️ Give your body time to recover

Those “before & after” moments? That’s consistency, patience, and taking care of your body 🤍

We have Arnica Cream available at the studio if you need a little extra support between classes!

Because progress doesn’t just happen on the pole… it happens in recovery too 💫

Posture + Proper Engagement

What you’re seeing in this video isn’t just “tightening abs” — it’s intentional lower abdominal + pelvic floor engagement. This is your foundation for control, stability, and protecting your body while you train.

💡 Think about:

Lifting up through the pelvic floor
Gently drawing the lower abs in and up (not sucking in or bracing hard)
Stacking ribs over hips instead of flaring the chest
Keeping a long spine instead of arching or collapsing

When this engagement is there, everything feels different:
✔️ More control in spins & climbs
✔️ Better balance and cleaner lines
✔️ Less strain on your lower back
✔️ Stronger, safer movement overall

This is one of those small adjustments that makes a huge difference — and it’s something we come back to at every level 💫

Next time you’re on the pole, check in with your body… are you just “holding on,” or are you truly engaging with intention?

We’re introducing Flow Theory Level 1 & Level 2, along with full choreography workshops with showcase opportunities — all designed to help you grow safely, confidently, and with purpose.

👉 Level 1 will focus on building your foundation. You’ll still learn a fun mini routine, but most of the class will be dedicated to breaking down and drilling essential flow skills. You’ll also get time to explore freestyle and start creating your own flow.

👉 Level 2 will level things up with more intricate choreography and advanced pole skills. This class is designed for students who are ready to build on that foundation and will require instructor approval.

✨ And for those ready to dive deeper…
Our Flow Workshops will run in a series format (typically once a week), where you’ll fully learn and refine a complete routine — with the option to perform in our quarterly showcases 💙

This change is all about YOU — helping you feel stronger, more confident, more expressive, and safer in your flow journey.

We can’t wait to see how you grow 🌱
