LOVEFIT MEMBER SPOTLIGHT 🌟💜
Katie Cook is our March spotlight!
Katie is amazing! She is a 5:30am class attendee. Despite the very early hour, she gives her all each morning as you can see from her pictures.
She works hard, and cheers on and encourages others.
Here are Katie’s answers to some questions we asked her:
1. What motivates you to stay consistent with your workouts? “Working out is something I do for myself, I find I have more to give when I take care of me.”
2. What fitness goals do you have for yourself going forward? “Learn to not despise the assault bike. Continue to build my strength and push myself beyond what my brain tells me I can do.”
3. What do you like to do when you are not working out at Lovefit? “I enjoy going to the shooting range, camping, 4-wheeling, and scenic drives.”
4. What would you name the autobiography of your life? “Loyal Heart, Unbreakable Spirit”
5. What is the last good book you read? “Shoe Dog”
6. Do you prefer cardio or strength training? “Strength.”
7. What is your beverage of choice after working out? “Water and a protein shake”
8. What does your perfect day look like? “A day in the mountains with my husband.”
9. What is your favorite kind of music to listen to when you work out? “Anything upbeat that pushes me to keep going.”
We love Katie! Our 5:30am class is a small group, so she often does a lot of hard workouts with no one to commiserate with. She strives each day to not just do her best, but also to continually improve in strength, stamina and technique. She is a delightfully kind person and watching her nail a really tough workout is our favorite way to start the day.
