The 2026 boys swim banquet held at CAVOC was an opportunity to celebrate the team of 14 swimmers & their success as 8 straight GNC conference & 8 straight Sectional champs & 8th at D2 State of 29 qualifying teams.

Each swimmer had a role at the banquet and shared thoughts they felt helped them or made them better in or out if the pool. A common note was that the team really enjoyed being together & felt like family.

All 14, earned GNC All Conference honors and a varsity letter.

Each swimmer made HUGE time drops through out the season &
scored valuable points which was important for overall team success.

Sophomore Dean Gillingham was voted GNC swimmer of the year.  Broden Wagner and Dean Gillingham passed on special team awards to Konner Bex and Charlie Antonuk.

Thank you to all the parents ( & Trigs) who provided a wonderful meal and special help throughout the season! 

Thank you to the school, community & all the coaches, media & and all those who supported the team in any way - we are beyond grateful.

We would like to thank the Rhinelander fire department (now with graduated swimmer Dolan O ‘Malley on the crew ) and the police department for 8 years of es**rts into town after winning the conference meet- It never grows old!

We appreciate all you do & for taking time to celebrate student athletes!

We celebrate by running around the bus 8 times.

It’s so great to live in a town that celebrates hard work & success & makes the moment even more special!Hodag proud!

That’s a season wrap with a double win tonight. 33 more season best times from this team of 14. The guys did a nice job, introducing their parents and thanking them for all they do at parents night. We are grateful for their support! The conference championship is at Lakeland at 5 PM on Feb 6th. Let’s go Hodags!

Non conference triangular meet against SPASH & Wausau East at Point tonight. Hodags were second behind Point but had strong swims & it was well worth the D1 competition & fun with both schools. Last Conference meet Thurs at home. The 2026 Conference meet is next week!

Hodag swimmers were at the small school state meet today at Shorewood high school in Milwaukee. The team took 5th overall of 17 D2 teams. A long day of travel but worth it for the valuable experience. Guys also had fun trading swim caps with other teams.

Top 6 of each event medaled. Hodags had 14 top 16 finishes that scored points. Many season best times too. Way to go Team!
