Day 2 is in the books and our little 90lber’s attempt to land on the podium at 106lbs class is over.

Gabe has given us many exciting matches through the season and even more laughs as Gabe is simply Gabe. He’s always got us on your toes.

Being an undersized freshman our hopes were high but expectations tempered. Coming into the season I was hopeful he could land around .500 on the season. Finishing the year 23-12 and having a chance to compete at the WI State championships is beyond anything we anticipated.

We’ll formally wrap the season next weekend at our end of season banquet.

Super proud of you Gabe and glad you had a few teammates and practice partners here to support you.
