Results are up! I have included field event results from the canceled meet as well, whether it be a better mark, or anyone who competed in the first meet, but missed out on the meet last night.
THANK YOU for a great first season in Rhinelander! We look forward to next summer!

Due to being stormed out and cancelling mid-meet, we are hosting a make-up meet on FRIDAY, JULY 25th! Anyone who was registered for last night's meet can get a FREE race bib entry into the meet on the 25th (you can pick it up at registration).
We will also hold practices the next 2 TUESDAYS as well. SPREAD THE WORD!
Regarding meet results - I will hold onto all meet results, and if you got a mark from a field event that was better at last night's meet, I will use that mark in results. For example, I know there were some PR's over at PV. Those marks will be included in results even if you don't make that height at the next meet.
LASTLY - it is difficult finding enough volunteers to make these meets possible. If you, or someone you know, would be willing to help time, rake, measure, etc, please let me know!

A GREAT showing for our Northwoods Track Club at Badger State Games Track & Field this past weekend! Below are just results from our club members. Full results are on the Badger State Games Track website. We brought home a lot of hardware!

Home Meet FAQ's:
1) Who can participate? ANYONE and EVERYONE! All ages from anywhere are able to compete.
2) How do I register? Registration is on-site before the meet starts, from 4:30-5:45pm. Bring $10/person ($30 cap for families), fill out the form, and you'll get a race bib that you must wear in order to participate.
3) What time should I arrive? 4:30-5:45 so you can register and warm-up. Runways, throws, and the track will be open for warm-ups starting at 4:30pm.
4) Can I borrow a throwing implement? YES. We should have all sizes at each throwing event. We are waiting for our men's college shot to arrive, but we are hoping to borrow for the meet if it's not here by then.
5) How do I participate in an event? Just show up at it! You can throw, long, and triple jump at any time during the meet. For HJ and PV, let the event worker know before the meet starts that you plan on competing, and what you would like your opening height to be. To run an event, show up at the start area (one event in advance would be appreciated), so the clerk can assign heats and lanes based on who is there to run it. We will do our best to group by age/gender, but can combine as well. If there are particular requests, please let us know! (We had a husband and wife who wanted to race each other in the 400m one year).
6) What should I wear? Any tank or t-shirt that is appropriate is fine, just so long as you wear your race bib! Pin race bibs on the front, unless you are pole vaulting, then you can pin it to your back.
7) Will there be concessions? No, please plan to bring your own snacks and drinks.
8 ) What kind of timing system will this be? This will be all hand-timed.
9) Where/when can I find results? After the meet concludes, it will take me many hours to input all of the results and get them uploaded. I will post it on our page when they are up! Give me a couple days at least please!
10) Will there be awards? No. All of our results are compiled after the meet, so there are not any awards. Just have fun and do your best!
11) How many events can I do? As many as you can fit in! I have had people do 8-10 events or more even.
12) What time will the meet get done? Typically our club meets have concluded in about 2 hours.

A note regarding jerseys: I apologize that we were not able to order club jerseys in time for this season. We will have them next year! You can wear anything you would like for this season's meets. Extra unfortunate because I believe we have at least one or more club members competing in every event tomorrow, from 100m-3K, to hurdles, long jump, triple jump, high jump, shot, disc, and pole vault! We will try to take a club team photo at some point with as many of us as possible.

A note from the Badger State Meet Director (for anyone who missed this): We are aware of the heat, and will make a small adjustment in the order of events by moving the 3000m run to 9:30am.

7:30-8:30: On-Site Registration & Check In
***You do not need to be here by this time if you don't have any changes to your initial registration. We do need any adjustments and walk-ups done by this time so we can have competitors entered into the computer system prior to the start of events. If you arrive later, just check in at the registration/awards table by the pressbox.

9:30: Begin Field Events & 3000m Run

10:00: Begin the rest of the running events, starting with the 80/100/110 Hurdles.

A few other notes related to the projected heat!
- We will have a trainer on-site stationed near the finish line
- You are welcome to bring awnings / EZ ups, etc and set them up around the venue. Best places for this tend to be on the backstretch, along the baseball field fence/bleachers (not on the baseball field please), or in the open space near the pole vault / long & triple jump area.
- I'll have a little cooling station with a sprinkler set up near the school
