What a fantastic day of junior tennis at the Reno Tennis Center! 🎾

Congratulations to all of the players who competed. It was great to see so much effort, sportsmanship, and improvement on the court. We hope everyone had a fun and memorable day while showcasing their skills.

A big thank you to the Sierra Junior Tennis Association (SJTA) for being such a great partner. We’re proud to work together to provide more opportunities for junior players to compete and grow.

Thank you to all of the players, parents, coaches, and volunteers who helped make the day a success. We can’t wait to host the next one!

August and September Pickleball Leagues are now open for registration at Reno Tennis Center.

Our next session of pickleball leagues runs from August 1 through the end of September, and registration is now available in CourtReserve.

We have options for experienced beginners, low intermediate, high intermediate, competitive players, women’s leagues, co-ed leagues, and our new Reno Pickleball Community League.

The new Reno Pickleball Community League is designed for players of all ages in the 2.5-3.5 skill range and includes both Friday and Sunday play options. This is a great fit for players who want consistent matches, a fun community feel, and a structured way to keep improving.

League options include:

Co-ed Leagues

* Low Intermediate 3.0-3.5, Saturdays 8:00-10:00 AM
* Low Intermediate 3.0-3.5, Sundays 8:00-10:00 AM
* Reno Pickleball Community League 2.5-3.5, Fridays and Sundays
* Low Intermediate 3.0-3.5, Mondays 5:30-7:30 PM
* Experienced Beginners 2.5-3.0, Mondays 6:00-8:00 PM

What a weekend.

The 2026 Reno Pickleball Open officially wrapped up today with Mixed Doubles and an incredible finish to three days of competition.

From Friday singles to Saturday doubles and today’s mixed doubles, players competed, battled, and made memories across an amazing weekend of pickleball at the Reno Tennis Center.

A huge thank you to all of our players, volunteers, referees, sponsors, staff, and spectators who helped make this event possible.

Congratulations to all of our medalists and competitors. The level of play was outstanding, but what stood out most was the energy, sportsmanship, and community throughout the weekend.

🏆 DAY 2 OF THE RENO PICKLEBALL OPEN IS COMPLETE 🏆

What a day.

From the first serve this morning to the final medal matches this afternoon, the courts were full, the competition was outstanding, and the pickleball community showed exactly why this event continues to grow.

Today featured Women’s Doubles and Men’s Doubles across multiple divisions, bringing together players of all ages and skill levels for a full day of competition, camaraderie, and great sportsmanship.

Congratulations to all of today’s medalists and thank you to every player who stepped on court. Whether you earned a medal or not, you helped create an incredible tournament experience.

A special thank you to Selkirk Sport for supporting our players and helping make events like this possible.

🏆 DAY 1 OF THE RENO PICKLEBALL OPEN IS COMPLETE 🏆

Tonight wasn’t just about medals.

It was about players battling through long matches, cheering each other on, making new friends, and creating memories under one of the most beautiful Reno sunsets we’ve seen all year.

Congratulations to all of tonight’s medalists and a huge thank you to every player who competed. Whether you finished on the podium or not, you helped make Day 1 a success.

What makes this tournament special isn’t the medals. It’s the people.

The support from fellow competitors. The energy around the courts. The willingness of players to stay late and cheer on championship matches. That’s what builds a great pickleball community.

And the best part?

We’re only getting started.

Women’s Doubles takes the courts tomorrow morning, Men’s Doubles follows at noon, and Mixed Doubles wraps up the action on Sunday. There are still hundreds of matches left to be played and plenty of incredible pickleball ahead.

Junior Pickleball Camps are open for summer

Pickleball is growing fast with kids, and summer is the easiest time to get started.

We’ve built these camps to keep things simple and structured so kids actually learn how to play.

Paddle control and rallying
Serving and returning
Court positioning
Real gameplay (not just drills)

Schedule:
Monday–Friday
11:00 AM–1:00 PM

Players are grouped by ability so:

Beginners feel comfortable
More experienced kids stay challenged
