Junior Pickleball Camps are open for summer

Pickleball is growing fast with kids, and summer is the easiest time to get started.

We’ve built these camps to keep things simple and structured so kids actually learn how to play.

Paddle control and rallying
Serving and returning
Court positioning
Real gameplay (not just drills)

Schedule:
Monday–Friday
11:00 AM–1:00 PM

Players are grouped by ability so:

Beginners feel comfortable
More experienced kids stay challenged

Reno Community Day is happening this Saturday, April 18 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Reno Tennis Center on Plumas.

If you’ve been thinking about getting into tennis or pickleball, this is the easiest way to start.

Free beginner-friendly classes for kids and adults. Food, drinks, and live music on site. Just show up and jump in.

The Reno Pickleball Spring Classic (April 24–26) is built for players who want good matches, a clear schedule, and a weekend that runs the way it should.

We’re using all 24 courts at the Reno Tennis Center, so divisions move, matches stay on time, and you’re not stuck waiting around wondering what’s next.

If you’ve been thinking about playing a tournament but haven’t found the right one, this is a good place to start.

Winter sports in Reno don’t stop when there’s snow on the ground.

This week 15 local juniors showed up at Reno Tennis Center, helped clear courts, and got back to work. We now have two courts running and junior sessions happening even in February.

If you have a child interested in tennis or pickleball, this is a great time to get them involved.

At Reno Tennis Center, juniors can play competitive match play every Tuesday & Thursday from 3:30–5:30 PM for just $5.

And if your child is enrolled in our monthly program or has a Youth Membership ($140/year), match play is included.

Looking for something active, structured, and genuinely productive for your kids this spring break? We’re running Spring Break Tennis Camps built around real skill development and match play, not babysitting.

Session Dates
• March 23–27
• March 30–April 3

Daily Camp Times
• Red Ball (Ages 4–6): 8:45–9:30 AM
• Orange / Green / Yellow Ball (Ages 7–14): 9:30 AM–12:30 PM

Camp Options
• Red Ball (Ages 4–6)
• Orange Ball (Ages 7–10)
• Green + Yellow Ball (Ages 11–14)

Players are grouped by age and ability, with coaches focused on fundamentals, rallying, movement, and point play every day.

If your child is new to tennis, this is a great introduction.
If they’ve played before, it’s a strong way to sharpen skills heading into spring and summer.

Starting January 1, membership prices will increase slightly for new members.
These adjustments help us keep up with rising costs, court maintenance, staffing, and continued improvements across the facility.

🔔 Guest Fees Increasing to $5 per visit on Jan 1

Non-member drop-in and reservation fees will increase to $5 per person per visit starting 1/1/26.
This brings us in line with other community sports facilities and helps support ongoing court improvements.
