What an incredible Memorial Day at Captain CrossFit. 🇺🇸

Today we sweated, struggled, encouraged, laughed, and pushed through Murph together. But more importantly, we paused to remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our country.

Murph is always a challenging workout, but its true purpose is reflection and gratitude. For a short time, we willingly embrace discomfort in honor of those who gave everything in service to others.

A huge thank you to everyone who showed up today—whether you completed Murph RX, scaled the workout, partnered up, cheered from the sidelines, brought food for the potluck, or simply spent time with our community. Every one of you helped make today special.

👏 Special congratulations to our Murph first-timers:
Jamie Kasten, Sara Saloner, Tataya Bailey, Stephanie Nolasco, Doug Dolan, Lance Chute, Anita Fleming, Scott Ritchie, and Nicole Meyer!

Taking on Murph for the first time is no small feat, and each of you showed tremendous grit, determination, and heart. We are proud of you and honored that you chose to share this experience with us.

A huge thank you as well to everyone who helped organize, set up, clean up, bring food, and make the day run smoothly. Events like this are a reminder that Captain CrossFit is more than a gym—it's a community.

As we head home tonight, we hope you'll take a moment to remember the heroes who never made it home. Their sacrifice is the reason we gather on this day, and we are grateful for the opportunity to honor them together.

Just a reminder that this Monday we'll be celebrating Memorial Day with one of our favorite traditions: Murph!

🏃‍♂️ Murph Heats:

🍔 Potluck BBQ Brunch:
⏰ Beginning around 9:30 AM

Bring a dish to share, hang out, and enjoy some great food and community after the workout!

And don't forget—you can bring a friend! Murph is for everyone. Whether you're a seasoned athlete or have never done Murph before, this workout is infinitely scalable. We can modify the volume, movements, and format so everyone can participate safely and have a great experience.

Don't let the workout's reputation scare you away. The goal is to honor those who served, challenge ourselves, and spend time with an amazing community.

🏀 Captain CrossFit March Madness Get-Together! 🏀

We’re hosting a March Madness watch party on Saturday, March 28 to watch the Elite 8 battle it out for a spot in the Final Four!

We’ll be hanging out at the gym in the afternoon and firing up the smoker and the grill 🔥

🥩 Bring any meat you want to smoke or throw on the grill.
If you’ve got something that takes a long time to cook, no problem—we’ll start the smoker early in the day.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Family and friends are welcome, so bring them along to hang out, eat some good food, and enjoy some college basketball with the community.

📋 There will be a sign-up sheet at the front desk so we can get an idea of who’s coming.

We’re kicking off a simple, effective nutrition challenge designed to help you fuel better, recover stronger, and build habits that actually last.

🗓 January 5–31
Daily Goals:
✔️ 800g of fruits, vegetables, and legumes
✔️ 0.7–1.0g of protein per lb of bodyweight

How to log:
0️⃣ Day off
1️⃣ Hit one goal
2️⃣ Hit both goals

Log your daily score in the Member App (Schedule → Workouts → Nutrition Challenge).

🎉 Bonus: Log 28+ total points and earn a FREE InBody scan at the end of the challenge.
