Pride Month is almost here — and we want YOU to march with us! 🌈

Join us for the Portland Pride Parade on Saturday, June 20 as we take to the streets to celebrate, uplift, and show up for Maine’s LGBTQ+ community. The Parade steps off from Monument Square at 11:30 AM, proceeds along Congress Street to Congress Square Park, down High Street to Park Avenue, where it enters Deering Oaks Park by Mellen Street, and lasts for about an hour. There is also a pride festival being held at Deering Oaks Park starting at 12:00 PM. 🏳️‍🌈

A delicious and refreshing collaboration between and ***rsandbeersme ! Orange Bike Brewing is donating a portion of every Pride Ale sale to support Maine's LGBTQ+ community. We're proud to build on that impact by donating an additional $1 for every can sold at Owlbear's Rest.

Together, those donations will support and and help strengthen the communities that make Maine such a welcoming place to live, work, and play. 🌈

Raise a can, play a game, and help make a difference.

Give OUT Day is a powerful reminder of the collective power we hold when we invest in our community. As the only national day of giving for LGBTQ+ organizations, every gift helps us serve Maine's LGBTQ+ community across the state. Our community is vibrant and resilient. In these difficult political times, we must remember that we are stronger together. Your support allows us to forge meaningful connections and build community from Portland to Houlton.🌈

For over 40 years, we have shown up for Maine's LGBTQ+ community. Thank you for showing up for us. Our work is never over, but your support makes our work worth it.

Join us tonight to celebrate the launch of GRAFTING with local author Rylan Hynes , in conversation with our Executive Director Gia Drew, on Wednesday, June 3 at 6pm at the Equality Community Center - ECC! Print: A Bookstore will have copies for sale.

“This exquisite debut explores the cost of forbidden desire and the resilience required to claim one’s authentic self. With prose as rooted and enduring as the heritage apple trees that anchor the story, GRAFTING asks whether two people can truly come home to each other after being forced apart by the very communities that shaped them.”
