Director and choreograher Phillip Vitug has been in the Liberty area for more than 17 years. He has more than 22 years of background in the arts of dancing, singing, and modeling, as well as extensive performance experience. Phil, as he is affectionately called by his students, has studied in Los Angeles under Mr. Charles Kelly. Phil had also been lead MC for cruise lines and performed for Norweig
an, Celebrity and Holland Cruise Lines. He has performed for Worlds of Fun, Bush Gardens, Jean Ann Ryan Productions and Anita Mann Productions. Recently he has been a lead choreographer at Worlds of Fun, as well as the lead choreographer for the Ed Alonzo show in Vallyfair, Minnesota. Phil has owned and operated The Conservatory of Dance Education for 12 years, and continues to give much of his time and energy to the kids he trains. His passion for dance is apparent in each class he teaches, and he tries to pass along a positive attitude and a love for the art of performance. His students of dance have gone on to follow in his footsteps, working and performing on cruise ships and at other well known venues. Phil takes a "Let's Have Fun" approach with his students, but he does expect them to work hard and practice. Phil has choreographed his Competition Troup to be an award winning team, being recognized for his superior dance technique and choreography at national competitions, such as Nexstar, Spotlight, Rainbow, and KAR. Phil is a family man, and he extends his love and care to his CODE family as well.
