In honor of National Chemistry Week, we're taking a closer look inside our Koppers Performance Chemicals labs in Peachtree City, Georgia. 🧪

This team develops chemical formulations and technologies that help protect, enhance, and extend the life of wood products for everything from residential construction and remodeling to heavy duty marine and agricultural use.

As a global leader in wood preservation technology, we're proud to support the infrastructure communities rely on every day, and it's the chemists in this lab who make that possible.

Wood decks, fences, and other outdoor structures are places where we gather, connect, and create lasting memories.

While protection from outdoor elements and pest damage can go unnoticed, the proper wood preservation technology can be the difference in extending the life of these structures.

During Manufacturing Month, we recognize the innovation that our teams devote to developing wood protection technologies that preserve the performance and longevity of wood products for generations to come.

To start, we're spotlighting the work of our Railroad Products and Services team members, who manufacture treated rail ties that support the safe and reliable rail infrastructure that helps get essential goods where they need to go, including right to your local store and into your pantry.
