We are are one of the 40 regions recognized by USA Volleyball, essentially functioning as the Wisconsin chapter. Our next HP All-Star spotlight features a tough competitor whose determination and resilience make her a force on the court 🏐🔥

Meet Avery Tripp
🟦 Position: Middle/Right Side
🟦 Club: One Wisconsin
📍 Hometown: De Pere, Wisconsin
🏫 De Pere High School

Whether she’s controlling the net as a middle or contributing on the right side, Avery brings versatility, athleticism, and a competitive mindset every time she steps on the court. Her hard work has earned her a spot on this year’s Badger Region HP All-Star Team.

💪 Fun Fact: During a high school tournament, Avery needed stitches after an injury and got them in a school lunch room—then returned to keep playing! That’s the kind of toughness and dedication that defines a true competitor.

Imagine being able to instantly get to every block, every dig, and every attack. Sounds like the perfect volleyball superpower!

Congratulations to 2026 Badger Region Scholarship recipient Katie Sterny!

Katie’s volleyball journey has been defined by resilience, determination, and the unwavering support of her teammates, coaches, and community. Through both triumphs and challenges, she has learned the power of perseverance, the importance of leaning on others, and the impact a strong support system can have during life’s most difficult moments.

Inspired by those experiences, Katie will attend Carroll University to pursue a degree in nursing with the goal of one day working in pediatric emergency medicine. She hopes to provide comfort, care, and compassion to children and families during times when they need it most.

Volleyball has helped shape Katie into the person she is today, teaching her how to overcome adversity, trust her teammates, and continue moving forward through every challenge. Those lessons helped carry her through a memorable club season that culminated in a Badger Region Championship and strengthened her commitment to making a positive impact on others.

Katie’s courage, perseverance, and dedication to serving others embody the spirit of the Badger Region Scholarship program. We are proud to recognize her as a 2026 Badger Region Scholarship recipient.

🏐 Ready to Try Volleyball? 🏐

The Badger Region is excited to host a FREE Try Volleyball Clinic alongside our Club Open House on July 15 at Brookfield Central High School!

This session is specifically for girls entering 4th-6th grade and is the perfect opportunity to learn the basics of volleyball in a fun, welcoming environment. Whether it’s your first time touching a volleyball or you’re looking to improve your skills, our coaches will help you build confidence and have a great time on the court.

🗓 Wednesday, July 15
📍 Brookfield Central High School
⏰ 5:00 PM - 6:30 PM | Girls Entering 4th-6th Grade

Don’t worry if you’re entering 7th-8th grade—there’s a session for you too from 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM!

While athletes are on the court, parents can explore our Club Open House and learn more about club volleyball opportunities throughout the Badger Region.

Congratulations to 2026 Badger Region Scholarship recipient Will Hoffman!

Will has distinguished himself as a leader in the classroom, on the court, and throughout his community. Through his commitment to academic excellence, student leadership, and service, he has demonstrated the qualities that define a well-rounded student-athlete.

At Arrowhead High School, Will has served in numerous leadership roles, including Co-President of National Honor Society and Vice President of Student Senate. His dedication to serving others extends beyond school through community initiatives, nonprofit fundraising efforts, youth leadership programs, and volunteer work that has positively impacted countless individuals.

Volleyball has played a significant role in shaping Will’s character. Through injuries, setbacks, and challenges, he learned the value of resilience and perseverance. Those experiences helped him develop a mindset focused on growth, leadership, and helping others succeed. Today, he continues to give back to the sport as both a coach and referee, sharing the lessons volleyball has taught him with the next generation of athletes.

As he continues his educational journey, Will remains committed to serving his community, embracing new opportunities, and leading with purpose.

We are proud to recognize Will as a 2026 Badger Region Scholarship recipient and look forward to seeing the impact he will continue to make in the future.

Our next HP All-Star spotlight features a player who helps make the offense go and brings plenty of athleticism to the court 🏐🔥

Meet Vaughn Duckert
🟦 Position: Setter
🟦 Club: Inferno
📍 Hometown: McFarland, Wisconsin
🏫 McFarland High School

As a setter, Vaughn is the quarterback of the court, helping put teammates in position to succeed while leading the offense with confidence and precision. His hard work and dedication have earned him the opportunity to represent the Badger Region this summer.

🤸 Fun Fact: Vaughn can do a backflip! That kind of athleticism and body control certainly comes in handy both on and off the volleyball court.

A fitting choice for a setter who is always looking to elevate the game—and who would love a little extra hang time above the net!

The USA Deaf Volleyball Athlete Interest Form is now open!

As USA Deaf Volleyball prepares for the next Deaflympic cycle, they are looking to identify the top Deaf athletes from across the country who are ready to represent Team USA and compete for gold on the international stage. 🥇

We encourage our Badger Region community to help spread the word and share this opportunity with athletes, coaches, schools, clubs, and families who may know a Deaf volleyball player interested in competing at the highest level.

🏐 NEW FOR 2026-27: The Badger Region NIL Ambassador Program

The Badger Region is committed to making club volleyball accessible to more athletes and families. Through our new NIL Ambassador Program, student-athletes who demonstrate financial need may receive assistance with club volleyball expenses while serving as ambassadors for the Region and the sport.

Selected athletes will help promote volleyball, Badger Region events, and share their experiences while receiving financial support paid directly to their Badger Region club.

Applications are now open and include a personal letter, transcript, and proof of financial need. Athletes who know they plan to play club volleyball next season are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
