Badger Region Volleyball, a non-profit membership association, is the premier authority for the sport of volleyball in the State of Wisconsin. We are are one of the 40 regions recognized by USA Volleyball, essentially functioning as the Wisconsin chapter. Our mission is to provide an avenue for players, club directors, coaches, and officials to achieve excellence.

Brian Rushmer is a coach who does both.

What does both mean? It means coaching for both club and high school season! Coach Rushmer has a unique insight on the benefits of athletes playing in both!

🇺🇸 FROM U21 CHAMPION TO U23 PAN AM CUP! 🇺🇸

Another incredible milestone for Badger Region’s own Aleksey Mikhailenko! 👏🏐

Following his gold-medal performance with the U.S. Men’s U21 National Team at the 2026 U21 Pan American Cup, Aleksey has now been named to the 14-athlete roster for the 2026 Men’s U23 Pan American Cup! 🇺🇸

Aleksey will represent Team USA at the NORCECA U23 Pan American Cup, September 20–28 in San Salvador, El Salvador. (USA Volleyball)

What makes this accomplishment even more impressive is the continued progression. After representing the U.S. at the U19 and U21 levels, Aleksey is now moving up to U23 — competing alongside some of the best young players in the country, including athletes with significant NCAA Division I experience.

Seeing one of our own continue to earn opportunities on the national stage is something the entire Badger Region can be proud of. 🇺🇸💚

Aleksey is a tremendous example of what happens when talent, hard work, development and a commitment to getting better come together. His journey is a reflection of the incredible athletes being developed throughout the Badger Region and an inspiration to the next generation of boys volleyball players chasing their own goals.

This initiative was created with one goal in mind: making club volleyball more accessible. 🏐

The Badger Region NIL Ambassador Program is a need-based opportunity designed to help athletes and families who are struggling with the costs associated with playing club volleyball.

💰 Financial assistance toward club volleyball costs
📚 Support for athletes pursuing their volleyball & educational goals
🏐 An opportunity to represent the Badger Region and help grow the sport
📱 Ambassadors help promote volleyball and Badger Region events through their social platforms
