🏴‍☠️🥎 STATE BOUND!

The Pirates are headed to Madison!

Pewaukee punched its ticket to the WIAA State Tournament with a 4-2 victory over Whitnall in the Sectional Final.

After falling behind early, the Pirates battled back and took the lead for good in the sixth inning. Hailey Hutchens was outstanding in relief, tossing five shutout innings while allowing just three hits and striking out four. Harper Gould led the offense with two hits, while Estella Levas, Hailey Hutchens, and Harper Gould each drove in a run.

A special nod to Sam Brewster, whose leadership and performances in the circle throughout the postseason helped put the Pirates in position to make this run. From Regional Championship No. 3 to a trip to State, she has been a huge part of getting Pewaukee to this moment.

One team. One goal. One more chapter to write.

When the Pirates needed a big-time performance in a sectional showdown, Sam Brewster answered the call.

Brewster was in complete control as Pewaukee knocked off Catholic Memorial 3-1 to advance. The senior kept one of Wisconsin’s top offenses in check and delivered when her team needed it most.

SECTIONAL FINAL BOUND‼️‼️🥎

The Pirates are one win away from a trip to Goodman Diamond!

Pewaukee battled through a pitcher’s duel and knocked off Catholic Memorial 3-1 to punch their ticket to the Sectional Final. Sam Brewster was outstanding in the circle, tossing a complete game while allowing just four hits and one unearned run over seven innings.

Taylor Stanek led the offense with two hits, while Sam Brewster and Sydney Brewster each drove in a run. Gillian Stelse came through with a heads-up steal of home that proved to be a huge insurance run. The Pirates also turned a key double play and played strong defense throughout the night.

One more game. One more opportunity.

Senior, Estella Levas, hits a bomb, 2 run homerun to secure her 100th career hit. She now sits in the top 5 career hits record in Pewaukee Softball History.
