After weapons I picked up another gold and 2 silver for a total of 4 gold 3 silver. I missed out on Grand Champion by 0.19 but qualified for US Team selection.

This Saturday (9/5) I will be competing in the 1st World Wushu Open Championships in seven events. Apparently this tournament will be live streamed via the World Taiji Science Federation's channel: https://www.youtube.com/-2008. Look for the specific day's broadcast under their "Live" tab.

If you're interested in seeing some high quality wushu - and hopefully Tai Chi - the live stream will commence around 12pm CDST (10am PDST). The Tai Chi program runs all day until about 10:30pm CDST (9pm PDST). I cannot guarantee they will show the Tai Chi (nor specifically me) as there are 9 rings which will be running concurrently with other wushu events (Tai Chi is Ring 9), but hopefully you will get to see some.

There is expected to be approx. 2,000 competitors at this tournament, of which about 85 will be performing in across about 30 Tai Chi events, including bare hand, weapon and group events. My events start about 1:11pm (CDST) and end about 9:54pm (CDST). However these have already changed once (to the above) since I last check and I'm guessing are subject to change without notice.

If Tai Chi or wushu competition interests you, this is definitely one to watch!
