Congrats to our 14U squad on a runner-up finish at the Super Man Series – Cape and Cleats Classic in Rantoul!

The boys went 4-1 on the weekend, falling just short in a hard-fought 5-4 championship game. Another great showing and lots of fun was had.

Our 17U squad is competing in the Primetime Event hosted by Illinois State and has punched its ticket to the 7-team single elimination bracket after going 2-1-1 in pool play.

A few standout performances from the weekend so far:

W. Hoffman – 3-9, 5 RBI
M. Kinsey – 3-9, 2 doubles, 6 stolen bases

Our 14U, 15U, and 16U teams are down in Rantoul competing in the Superman Series – Cape & Cleats Classic. It was a solid day of pool play, with the program combining to go 4-0-2.

A few standout performances from today:

14U (2-0) – 4th Seed in Gold Bracket

* G. Rapplean: 4-4, 2 HR, 3 RBI | 4 IP, 7 K
* J. Bradley: 4-6, 2 doubles, 5 RBI

15U (1-0-1) – 4th Seed in Gold Bracket

* D. Clingan: 2 doubles, RBI
* K. Hardin: 3.1 IP, 1 hit allowed
* AJ Bolen: 3 IP, 1 hit allowed

16U (1-0-1) – 3rd Seed in Bracket

* B. Williams: 3-4, double, triple
* B. McCubbins: 3-5, 2 doubles
* D. Vallar: 3-5, including a grand slam
