The first tournament of the Summer Series saw 21 players participate yesterday, with the top four finishers receiving payouts. Congratulations are in order for Jamie, who claimed $380 for the highest hand, and Richie, who won a complimentary entry to the next month's tournament.

Our first monthly tournament from the Summer Series will be held on Sunday, May 31, at the Lodge with a 2pm start time. $80 buy-in, which will get you 10,000 in tournament chips. Register by 2pm to be eligible for an optional 3,000 chip add-on for $5. Doors open at 1pm. 100% payout. I will start the point fund for the Summer Series. Earn points each time you play, and earn additional points by making it to the final table each time.

This past Sunday was our last week of the poker season. Along with winning money each week, I also run a point fund where you earn points for playing and additional points for reaching the final table. I then pay the top ten leaders in points at the end of the season. Congratulations to Bob, who finished first in points for the 2025-2026 season.
This Sunday, April 19, is our poker banquet; everyone is invited. Doesn't matter if you played once or every week. If possible, I ask if you could bring a dish to pass. If everyone can get there by 1:30, I will pass out the money awards, and then we will start the Bounty poker tournament by 2pm. $75 buy-in, which includes your $20 bounty chip. Knock anyone out of the tournament and receive their $20 bounty chip.
I hope everyone had as much fun as I did this season. As I have said before, this league is where you can play Texas Hold'em in a relaxed atmosphere, have fun, and make some money.
Next month, I will start the Summer Tour, where I will host a poker tournament once a month until October.

We hosted 20 participants yesterday to showcase their poker proficiency. The top 4 positions were awarded payouts, with Kamil securing 1st place, Gene taking 2nd, Bob claiming 3rd, and Scott Y. attaining 4th. Joe won the complimentary seat, while Bob received $400 for achieving the highest hand. We will reconvene in two weeks. Please note that there will be no poker session next week due to Easter Sunday. Congratulations are extended to all the winners.

We had 20 brave players yesterday playing in the Bat Cave with a prize pool of over $1,900. Paid the top 4 places. Scott T. took 1st, Bruce took 2nd, Ted took 3rd, and Sue took 4th place. Jamie won $380 for the high hand, and John K. won the free seat for next week. Remember, bring a new player and receive $20 off on your buy-in.

It was a nice turnout on Sunday with 20 people who braved the cold to play. Paid out the top 4. Brian took 1st place, Pat T. 2nd, Bruce 3rd, and Mike W. 4th. Brian also won $380 for the high hand, and Sue won the free seat for the 15th. There will be no poker next Sunday due to the Super Bowl. I will see everyone on the 15th when we return to the felt.

Yesterday's poker tournament was a blast with 21 players showing up to donate their cash, somehow the prize pool hit over $1,700, the top 4 who didn't get chip-less walked away with payouts, kudos to Jamie for crushing 1st place, Richie for taking 2nd, Ray for 3rd, and Jim for 4th, they must be hiding some card counting skills, Joe W. raked in $420 for having the high hand and Kamil scored a free ticket to the next tournament where we'll all be cheering for the rest of the table.
