Now that the trip is all said and done…
The memories made… priceless
The lifelong friendships created… priceless
Being able to play my sport in Spain… priceless
Going into this, we didn’t fully know what to expect. Playing on a team with coaches and teammates we didn’t know was a little nerve wrecking, but I think it’s safe to say that we all left as a family, with memories that only we can understand together.
It was bittersweet leaving Barcelona. Not knowing if we will ever actually see any of our new “family” again in our lives. But we will hold on to and cherish this chapter of our lives forever.
This trip was worth every hardship we went though to make it happen. And certainly 100 percent worth every single penny spent.
To the Trash Pandas…..
Coach KB and Coach Mackense… thank you for coaching me on this trip and helping to bring a group of girls, who have never played together, to form a TEAM.
To my teammates, I will always remember you guys, and I know we will keep in touch for many years to come. Thank you for becoming my sisters in such a short time we spent together. Our memories will last a lifetime.
And as Ana says “WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS MY FRIENDS”
Adios Barcelona… until we meet again!
