Supporting Local Wellness: State of Sequoyah Books & Music

Reading is good for the mind, body, and soul! It can reduce stress, encourage creativity, improve focus, and give us a much-needed break from the busyness of life.

State of Sequoyah Books & Music is an independent Muskogee bookstore offering books, vinyl records, gifts, games, and more. Stop in, discover your next great read, and support a wonderful local business!

But it is so much more than a bookstore. The people there are kind, encouraging, and always finding ways to do great things for our community—from hosting Poetry Jam to sponsoring free movies at the Roxy Theater every month. (They're even showing a special Dolly Parton movie TONIGHT!)

They are also wonderful supporters of local authors. They offered so much encouragement to my wife when she wrote her first children’s book, and they carry her books in the store!

Stop by, pick up one of the Crooksie the Cat books, and check out all the other cool books, gifts, snacks, games, music, and more they offer.

Supporting State of Sequoyah means supporting a local business that truly supports Muskogee!

Today at Muskogee Rotary Club, we welcomed Keith Miller, Quality Manager at V&S Tubular.

Founded in 1939, V&S Tubular began operating in Muskogee in 1995. The company produces galvanized steel tubular structures used to support our nation’s electrical grid and the growing data-center industry.

Keith also shared exciting plans for V&S Tubular to build a new facility south of Muskogee. We appreciate him giving us a closer look at this important local industry and its continued investment in our community!

Learn more about the great things happening in and for the Muskogee community. Join us at Rotary!
