Jiu Jitsu - where fathers and sons/daughters can handle their issues man to man.

But seriously, I think it's so beautiful to share the mat and train with your child.

I think all of us that have experienced it can say it's a feeling of pride feeling your kid progressively getting better. Also it's nice to remind them who daddy is without getting the cops called on you 🤣🤣🤣

The dynamic between Tim and Jaxon is awesome to watch, now this is father/son goals.

The month of September we will stay NOGI.

We are going to focus on wrestling positions to add to our grappling game. Things like pressure, hand fighting, scrambles etc.

To all of you that love the GI *cough cough Dean cough* we apologize. Working with the wrestlers all summer reminded me how much wrestling plays a vital part in Jiu Jitsu.

Also I couldn't decide what poster was best so here's all of them- shout out to our master content creator Jim Jorgensen. Also love the subtle nod to the all time classic Vision Quest- IYKYK.

Life, liberty and the pursuit of good training partners or whatever George Washington said.

We're always down to teach other people so we selfishly develop new training partners. We don't "smash" eachother, we don't try to break eachother, we teach eachother, we learn together and we grow together.

Our favorite saying in these parts is "we all have a job to work in the morning, take care of your partners."

Come learn and become one of our partners- I promise we will take care of you.

We were watching the fights Saturday, of course a bunch of wrestlers.

When this was hit, my son looks straight at us with a grin on his face and said "I thought headlocks didn't work."

Dang you Islam, now my kid is gonna go out and try to headlock the world.

I always hate the end of summer when it comes to Jiu Jitsu. We lose a bunch of good training partners as they head off to school, head off to college, or go back to coaching.

We're gonna miss getting wrestle smashed by big Brayden. Can't wait to follow you this wrestling season and get beat up by you during winter break.
