Todayās āJesusā workout reminded us of sacrifice, endurance, and the strength that changed everything. The WOD was built around the 14 Stations of the Cross ā including the three times Jesus fell on His path from Gabbatha to Golgotha, and finally, His body being laid in the tomb.
Easter at CrossFit Rutherford is about more than fitness. Itās about honoring a journey marked by suffering, love, and a sacrifice far greater than any challenge we face in the gym.
Gratitude is our posture today.
We loved watching our crew take on The Via Dolorosa ā the āWay of Sorrow,ā the path Jesus walked to His crucifixion. Though the route is only about 600 meters, the true weight of that journey came from His suffering and the burden of the cross. Tradition tells us Jesus carried the crossbar for part of the way, with Simon of Cyrene helping carry it the rest. Our Good Friday workout was our small way of honoring a sacrifice far greater than any physical challenge.
