We talk to parents about keeping the camera on your kid at the finish, you never know when you are going to get that swim, that moment. So keep the camera rolling. This is Kat Gagnon, last of a great family of swimmers I have loved coaching. She has trained her whole life primarily in distance, and today at Conference Championships she wanted to break her team record, and she did so by over 2 seconds. This is not about us at Strive, its about the grind. Is it worth it, all the practices, parties missed etc. For this moment, you are DAMN RIGHT IT IS!!! She can become a swammer, and a coach and always know that she did it right, and went faster than anyone ever did before her at her college. Kat Gagnon be proud!! We all at the Center sure are! Pure effort, elation and joy.
