Clean. Low-carb. High-protein. Sugar-free. All-natural.

These words are designed to grab your attention- but they don’t always tell you whether a food is nutritious, satisfying or right for your goals.

One claim on the front of the package doesn’t tell the whole story.

Nutrition doesn’t need more buzzwords. It needs more content.

Cryotherapy can be a powerful addition to your recovery routine— but colder, longer, and more extreme doesn’t automatically mean better.

Let’s clear up a few common myths:
❌ the colder the session, the better the results
❌ cryotherapy burns hundreds of calories
❌ if you can tolerate the cold, you should stay in longer
❌ everyone responds to cryotherapy the same way
❌ cryotherapy is risk free and appropriate for all

The reality? Cryotherapy should be personalized, properly timed and completed using established safety protocols. Individuals responses vary and it should never be treated as a shortcut for weight loss.

Ready to experience cryotherapy in the safest, most intentional, and productive way? Ask our team how to incorporate it into your recovery routine.

More miles aren’t always the answer 🏃‍♀️

If you want to become a faster, stronger, and more resilient runner, strength training needs a place in your program.

Building stronger glutes, hamstrings, calves, and core can help you:

• Produce more force with every stride
• Maintain better form as fatigue sets in
• Improve running economy
• Better tolerate the demands of increased mileage
• Reduce your risk of common running injuries

Keep running- but make sure your training supports the miles you’re putting in.

Want to run stronger? Come train with Coach Angie at The Lab.

Electrolytes are having a moment— but that doesn’t mean everyone needs them every day 💦

For most healthy people, water and a balanced diet are enough to support everyday hydration. Electrolytes can be helpful when you’re participating in prolonged exercise, heavy sweating, or certain health related conditions.

Before reaching for the packet, ask yourself— do I really need electrolytes, or do I just need more water?

Use them with purpose— not just because they are trending.

Built for Impact Day 2: Your feet, ankles, hips, and core all work together to control force, maintain alignment and keep you stable.

When one piece isn’t doing it’s just, your knees often take on more than they should.

A strong, controlled landing requires your entire body to work together:

⚡️Ankles: enough mobility to absorb force while remaining stable
⚡️Glutes: strength to control the hips and keep the proper joint alignment
⚡️Trunk: stability to keep your body balanced and prevent excess movement

Strong landings aren’t just about the knees. They’re about building control from the ground up.

Stay tuned for more insights from Coach Angie 💪
