3v3 Beginner Beach Volleyball

5th-6th Grade with beginner 7th Graders welcome to join this group.

MIDDLE SCHOOL & HIGH SCHOOL SPOTS STILL AVAILABLE!!

We are excited to announce our 2026 Season. We will be adding a brand new opportunity for 5th and 6th Graders (and beginner 7th Graders) to learn all of the volleyball skills in a fun and instructional format.

Coach Paul believes that our community needs more volleyball opportunities for players to start younger and learn from experienced coaches.

They will play on a beach volleyball court with low net and make up teams of 3 players per side. This format allows them to learn passing, setting, hitting, serving and communication without the crowded and overwhelming size of an indoor court. They will be able to take these basic fundamentals into their indoor volleyball journeys and give them a great beach volleyball baseline.

We will set up “competition days” with referees and coaches so they get the full experience of competing as a team.

Summit Sand cannot wait to see your little ones on the sand and help them learn how to play this awesome game!

Rise and Grind…Monday’s and Wednesday’s. Start at 6am…Corona del Mar. One of the many reasons to play beach volleyball…just go outside and put the work in. The beach is always open!!
Hunter and Nicky are killing it. Stacking workouts and reps. No such thing as an off season!! Always preparing for the next opportunity!! Let’s go!!! If you want to join us..you know where we’re at.

The boys were up before the sun this morning. Rise and Grind. Then breakfast the 4s tournament in Hermosa. Great day of strength training, some drills and volleyball fun. Enjoy the day!!! That’s how you start Christmas break. Merry Christmas!!!

Why the same boring, simple, similar post? Systems aren’t magic. They create success by consistency, dedication and perseverance. Systems are simple so they can be repeated and easy to stack and maintain. It’s not the “system’s” fault if you are tired. Today wasn’t our best practice however it’s in the books and we will be better 2 or more practices down the road because of today’s rough morning. Growth isn’t always comfortable. In fact it’s the opposite. So, we grew today and we will be stronger tomorrow. Keep up the work. Just remember to embrace and find joy in the mistakes. Don’t show your frustration and don’t kick yourself. Others will do that for you. Be stronger internally and come backs turn into staying in front the entire time, 18-17 just means it’s time to finish and 3rd games are yours because we made the adjustments and now we own the other team. Stress shouldn’t be a factor when you are doing what you love. This is a lot to unpack this morning. However that’s what champions do. Let’s go!! Hope everyone has a great day!!

Not every morning is a postcard. There’s no off season for those players that want gains. Some athletes find peace in the strain of training when others are asleep.
