somewhere along the way my “weekday easy run” turned into what used to be my longest run of the week and I just… accepted it??

anyway,if you see me casually doing 10+ miles on a Tuesday, mind your business 🏃🏻‍♀️🫶🏼

starting with the same ol’ 60 miles this week and then we move on up 😟 a little scared, a little excited. we’ll see how it goes!

Marathon training (and life!) has me constantly dealing with some kind of tightness or soreness in my back from running, sitting, and everything in between 😭 I’ve been using the new KT Tape Pain Relief Patches as part of my routine because they’re designed for everyday discomfort and combine a cooling menthol sensation with flexible, movement-friendly support that doesn’t feel stiff or restrictive. I like that I can wear one throughout my entire day, stay active, and not have to keep thinking about reapplying 🙌🏼
If you’ve been dealing with that same “always a little sore” feeling, I highly recommend KT Tape Pain Relief Patches — linked in my bio!

this summer I need to decide if I’ll be taking on the Miami full marathon again in 2027 😅🌴

anyone who’s raced Miami knows it’s not an easy course — the heat, humidity, and mental battle alone make it a completely different kind of challenge.

It will be the 25th anniversary of my hometown race…
so I guess this summer’s big question is: do I commit to the chaos? 😂

Who’s planning on a Miami 2027 appearance?

what a fun summer… am I right? 🤪 and no, I won’t be doing any runs at the crack of dawn, so I’ll be accepting the challenge of marathon training in maximum spicy Miami temps 🥵

so what if it’s hard?!

First goal complete ☑️ 60 miles per week with a 16 mile long run for a full month before I start my official marathon training block .. and all without 1) feeling burned out & 2) an injury 🥳 I don’t want to jinx it or get my hopes up but I’m feeling so good and I hope it stays that way. But I know this whole running journey includes tough days where you don’t feel great—it’s inevitable 🙃😒

My summer plan this time: prioritize recovery & so much eating + good hydration. The last slide has my mileage + deload plan I’ll be following 👍🏼

Anyone else get their long run out of the way on a weekday?

Hotter miles = smarter training ☀️🏃🏻‍♀️ As the temps rise, I’ve learned that recovery matters just as much as the workout itself. Hydration, proper warm-ups, balancing hard efforts, and making recovery a priority has made the biggest difference for me lately—and adding has been one of the smartest moves for helping me stay consistent— It keeps my body feeling less stiff and sore so I’m always ready for the next day of work 🙌🏼 Made with just 3 clean ingredients (Green-lipped mussel oil, olive oils, and vitamin E) and backed by over 40 years of clinical research, it’s been my favorite tool to help enhance recovery as a runner 🤩 Because training hard is great… but training smart is better!
