CrossFit Medfield is a 6,000 square foot strength and conditioning facility located at 106 Adams Street in Medfield, MA. main gym with 24 ft.

At Resilience Medfield, we offer a wide variety of group classes, including CrossFit, RUSH, Boxing, Sports Performance Training, CrossFit Teens & Kids all under the direction of world-class coaches in a fun and motivating environment. Our program is based on the CrossFit methodology. This means we follow a program consisting of constantly varied, functional movements, executed at high-intensity. F

unctional movements are organic in nature, innate to our DNA and essential to our quality of life and independent living. Intensity is how we gain results and accomplish goals. We train for longevity, we train for health and most of all, we train for a better quality of life across all areas. Our Vision:

Congratulations to our May Athlete of the Month, Brad! Read a little bit more about Brad below 💪

I’ve always gone to the gym, but life got really busy and the gym was getting sacrificed. I was definitely in a fitness rut, and I knew I needed something different to get newly motivated. I had always wanted to try CrossFit and finally took the plunge.

What is your favorite part about this gym?:
Can I say the jokes? The exercise is great, obviously, but I definitely find myself laughing a lot. Nobody takes themselves too seriously, people have a great sense of humor, and each class has its own inside jokes. It makes it fun to come in, even when the workout has dubs in it.

What motivates you to continue?:
It is awesome to always have a challenge. It could be a skill or movement you want to get better at, a weight you want to hit, or trying to move up the leaderboard in a WOD. Competing against yourself or your friends keeps me coming back.

What is your favorite movement and/or favorite WOD?:
Favorite movement - Bench press, duh. Favorite WOD is the CrossFit Total, but I’ll take anything with a barbell.

What is your favorite Medfield memory?:
Lots to choose from, but I think my favorite memory is the first summer after the world closed during the pandemic, when the gym reopened. The gym was one of the only places people were socializing outside of family, and people were so happy to be there. Nobody was going anywhere, so the crew was very consistent and there every day. A lot of the workouts were outside, and the energy was great. Even doing DT in the sun in 90-plus-degree weather was fun.

What is the best advice you can give a fellow member?:
You will never regret coming out hot. 🙂

Tell us something about yourself others might not know!:
Maybe everybody already knew this, but I’m kind of a nerd. I love to read, watch Jeopardy!, etc., and before my career in finance and investing, I was an actuary.
