What a great day to finally not p**p my pants!!!! Tough week with two cat hill workouts on Tuesday (yes, TWO), a hard and muggy 5K on Wednesday, a really hellish class on Thursday and 3 sleepless nights in a row (thanks menopause!)… I showed up with heavy legs and sore abs expecting to have to fight hard to finish. It was quite fun. Also: tried a new drink this morning: with coffee, like, mixed in, was delicious. So, a hell of a win. Thanks for these pics and everyone else for the pics and cheers ❤️❤️❤️

12 in the books, is today?
Reeling and happy but sleepy AF also, what a weeeek!!!!
Dehydrated today but yesterday I felt amazing the whole way. Started w , .hoon and . Weather was the best I’ve ever had in this race, which means nothing because I can’t even remember last year’s.
This course always seems short, like it runs itself. I blink and I am on mile 9🤷‍♀️. My time was a cute 10 off of my PRs but I am starting to really feel like that numbers don’t matter (maybe that is why I never get signal ready at the start and forget to turn off my watch at the finish 🥸), or maybe they don’t matter “anymore”. Running is my mental health support animal, and races are my social hour, what would numbers add to this? the WHY is all of it.
Congrats if you run, and I hope you appreciate that just toeing the start line is a privilege and a finish is never for granted.
