Last night we hosted our inaugural Friends of the Ocmulgee Heritage Trail meeting! 🙌🌳🥾🚲

Thank you to Bike Tech for hosting us and to trail expert Bill Causey for sharing his vast knowledge of the trail’s history and planned future.

We talked about current and planned projects, updates on different sections of the trail, how we can get the community excited about the OHT, and - last but not least - planning our first volunteer clean-up! Date and location TBD.

🤝 We want you to be part of the work! Join the Friends of the Ocmulgee Heritage Trail Facebook group to stay up to date on happenings, opportunities, and progress.

“I bought a Salsa Moraine a little more than a month ago from Bike Tech and I can’t say enough good things about it. It’s nimble, it’s responsive, and as someone who spent 25 years on an analog mountain bike, I’ve been amazed at how much it rides like one. Also, it is flat out fun.

On single track, the Fuze motor gives me just enough assist, but it doesn’t do all of the work, especially if I keep it in the lowest setting and I find that I rarely get out of the lowest setting. I’m peddling, I’m getting a workout, but I’m having fun all the time. This bike makes it easy to commit to long rides, and since getting it, I’ve ridden every day that the weather and trail conditions have allowed.

Shout out to Bobby and Jeff at Bike Tech for suggesting I try the Salsa. It wasn’t on my radar, and I am so happy that this is the bike I bought. No buyer’s remorse. I’m having too much fun with this bike. “
