2021 Cheer Derby National Champions We have two suites. The Training Gym is for small class instruction and small teams.

Founded in 2013 by Dwyana Garrett, Unity Cheer started in a small 2000 sq ft space offering only private lessons. Today, Unity Cheer is housed in over 7000 sq ft offering a competitive All-Star Cheer program and tumbling classes. The All-Star Gym is housed to our competitive All-Star Cheer program, larger teams, and intermediate and advanced tumbling.

Our September Preview is designed to give athletes focused opportunities to build skills, gain confidence, and experience Unity Cheer before our full fall class schedule begins.

✨ WHAT TO EXPECT AT UNITY SPIRIT CHEER EVALUATIONS ✨

Wondering whether your athlete needs cheer or tumbling experience before attending? They don’t! Our evaluations are beginner-friendly, and athletes do not need to prepare a routine ahead of time.

During evaluations, we will:

💙 Teach and review jumps
💙 Review any tumbling skills the athlete currently has, if any
💙 Teach a short 8-count motion section
💙 Observe effort, coordination, body control, listening, and coachability

We are not looking for perfection—we want to see each athlete’s potential and determine the best placement for a safe, successful season!

Unity Spirit Association is excited to welcome athletes ages 5–18 to our recreational competitive cheer program!

Unity Spirit Cheer offers a beginner-friendly path into competitive cheer while helping athletes build strong fundamentals, confidence, teamwork, and performance skills. No previous cheer experience is required!

✨ Primary Evaluations: September 8–9
✨ Practices Begin: Week of September 21
✨ Commitment: One weekday or weekend practice each week
✨ Season: September 2026–April 2027
✨ Evaluation Registration: $20

We’re opening the gym for a few weeks of drop-in classes, clinics, open gyms, stunt sessions, and private lessons so athletes can train, build confidence, meet our coaches, and get a feel for Unity Cheer before our regular fall classes begin.
