Andy Johnson is keeping the US Open run rolling! 🔥

After making a run to the second round of US Open qualifying, the Torrance native is back on the Flushing Meadows courts for the US Open Junior Championships, and he’s off to a strong start.

The No. 12 seed battled past Dan Brand 6-2, 3-6, 6-0 to move into the third round of the boys’ singles.

Alex Michelsen’s journey to the second week in New York has been years in the making. The former Aliso Niguel High School varsity player has worked his way from the SoCal junior circuit to his first Grand Slam quarterfinal, where he has yet to drop a set.

Iva Jovic battled through an unforgettable third round under the lights at Arthur Ashe Stadium and punched her ticket to the Round of 16. At 18 years old, she’s officially into the second week of a Grand Slam, and she’s not done yet. 💪
