This Sunday's Father's Day Omnium is shaping up to be one of the best race days of the season.

A handicap-style scratch race where riders receive a starting advantage based on the number of children they have. Because every parent knows that training volume and family size tend to move in opposite directions.

The forecast looks spectacular for racing. Blue skies, comfortable temperatures, and light winds.

Yes, there are scattered showers in the forecast after 2:00 PM.

Don't worry.

We'll all be home napping by then.

The Fastest Dad is a handicap-style scratch race where riders receive a starting advantage based on the number of children they have. More kids = more handicap.

Because every parent knows that finding time to train gets a little harder with each addition to the family.

Tuesday Night Racing is back this week at the Northeast Velodrome and we’re looking forward to another great evening at the track! Weather is looking great for tomorrow night, make sure to bring plenty of water!

If you’re planning to come out, please consider registering early. Riders often look to see who’s signed up before deciding whether to make the trip, and strong pre-registration helps create stronger fields and better racing for everyone.

Tuesday nights are designed to be a fun, welcoming atmosphere with quality racing and a few more creative race formats mixed in alongside traditional events. Whether you're chasing fitness, tactical practice, hard efforts, or just a fun night with the track community, there’s something for everyone.

A few reminders:

• All certified riders are welcome

• NEV members: don’t forget to use your discount code if applicable

• We’ll reopen registration day-of for last-minute additions

• We race Tuesday nights whenever possible and only cancel for weather or unsafe conditions

If weather becomes questionable, we’ll make the call by approximately 3:00 PM and communicate updates through BikeReg and our usual channels. Our refund policy remains the same if weather forces a cancellation.

Please help us build strong fields by signing up early and encouraging your teammates and friends to come out too.

🚨 LAST CALL FOR PRE-REGISTRATION 🚨

The NEV Summer Championship Series opens this Saturday, June 6.

If you've been thinking about racing, this is your reminder.

⏰ Pre-registration closes Friday (tomorrow) at 5:00 PM ET.

After that, registration will still be available at the track, but a $25 day-of registration fee will apply.

Four races. One omnium.
✔ Scratch Race
✔ Tempo Race
✔ Elimination Race
✔ Points Race

USA Cycling sanctioned.

Dust off the track bike, pin on a number, and see where your fitness really stands.

🚴 Welcome to the team, Ella Dishong!

We’re excited to announce that Ella has joined New England Track Cycling as our Seasonal Velodrome Operations & Events Associate for the 2026 season.

Many of you already know Ella from years of racing road, cyclocross, and mountain bikes throughout New England. Others know her through her father, Ed Dishong, who has been a longtime supporter of cycling in New England and a familiar face around Northeast Velodrome events.

A 2025 graduate of Lindenwood University and former member of their Varsity Cycling Team, Ella brings a wealth of cycling experience, enthusiasm, and a passion for growing the sport. This newly created seasonal position will help support rider experience, event operations, communications, grassroots programming, and our USA Cycling-sanctioned events throughout the season.

Ella shared:

“Cycling has been a big part of my life since I was eight years old, and I’ve been fortunate to compete in road, cyclocross, and mountain bike racing across the country. I’m excited to join the team at Northeast Velodrome, support riders and events, and explore a new cycling discipline.”

Please join us in welcoming Ella to the Northeast Velodrome community and be sure to say hello when you see her at the track this season!
