The city of Santa Maria, California is known for its motto: “A great place to live, work, and play.” After spending the week here, I can confidently say they have achieved exactly that.
From beach sand to arena dirt, Santa Maria offered the best of both worlds. Whether my hat was braving every kind of weather or my were carrying me from the beach to the Ramada Inn and the Golden Circle Gala, I felt welcomed everywhere I went.
Thank you, Santa Maria, for your hospitality. Thank you, Macy, for allowing me to ride Slay. And of course, thank you, Sujhey, for bringing me along to one of California’s most iconic rodeos.
As another unforgettable stop on this journey comes to a close, I leave with a grateful heart and memories I’ll cherish for years to come.
