Healing Hands for the Equine Athlete I am certified in Equine Sport Massage and Energetic Healing Touch. Using equine sport massage pre and post event has a huge benefit for the horses performance.

When a horse feels good, he'll perform good. Equine sport massage helps drain sluggish lymph material, improve muscle tone,reduce stiffness and swelling, and stretches connective tissue. I always start my sessions with a full body massage and then use my Cold Laser by Luminex Vet™ on the areas that the horse had the biggest "complaint" about. I find that the horses greatly apprciate both modalitie

s. The Cold Laser in itself does 3 AMAZING things:
1: It increases ATP, the cell's ability to fight infection and speeds healing.
2: Modulation of ROS: activates transcription factors, positive impact on repair and healing.
3: Release of NO: Nitric Oxide increases circulation, decreases inflammation, and enhances transport of oxygen and immune cells.
