2025 INFR Stand Alone Events

For the 2025 season, the INFR is going to approve stand alone events similar to the PRCA’s Xtreme bulls etc. This is an effort to establish more events in communities that do not have budgets to host entire rodeos. This will also help our stock contractors have more opportunities to use their animals at sanctioned events. Lastly this is an opportunity for our members to win more money.

Here are the details:
• The stand-alone events are for INFR open events only. No JR/SR at this time.
• Minimum added money is $6,000 per event one round and $10,000 long, short and average.
• They will NOT be automatic qualifiers.
• Contestants are required to enter and compete at three (3) regular INFR Tour rodeos for your “stand alone” money to count towards INFR Tour Standings.
• A committee can host a single timed event or a committee can host up to 3 rough stock events or a combination of any 3 rough stock events and a single timed event.
• At any stand alone rough stock event, a minimum of 3 INFR stock contractors will be used.
• Stand alone events can not be part of a regular rodeo. Example you can not have the break away roping at an open rodeo be a “stand alone event”.
• If less than 10 entries in an event, committee can require contestants to compete twice and pay out will be 33.3% first round, 33.3% second round and 33.3% aggregate.
• All other INFR competition and pay out rules apply.

The INFR would like to see these stand-alone events compliment already established INFR Tour Rodeos. To avoid conflicts, INFR Tour Rodeos will always get date preference. This is an entirely new concept for 2025 and adjustments may need to be made as we progress. Contact the INFR office for an application 406-338-7684.
