Hawthorne Country Club is Southern Maryland's only private member owned club with facilities for athletic sports as well as social gatherings for the whole family. Tucked away on Rt. 225 just outside of La Plata, Maryland and overlooking the Port To***co Valley, we offer one of the best views in Charles County. Our Par 72 Ed Ault designed golf course offers fun for the novice golfer as well as the

most advanced player. We have a wide variety of golf tournaments throughout the year for Men, Women and Mixed players as well as Men’s and Ladies Golf Leagues. We have a large swimming pool as well as a fenced baby pool and playground. Our competitive Swim Team swims throughout the summer with meets here at Hawthorne Country Club and around the adjacent counties. We have lighted Tennis Courts for play throughout the summer months. Our clubhouse boasts a full facility with an enclosed deck and outside deck to take in the fabulous views. The Club House is open to the public and is available for your party, banquet and business function needs. Hawthorne Country Club is a great place to meet new friends and have a place to call your own. Dunk-A-Hunk for a good cause! Vote for Michael McDonald and help raise funds for Bears of Love. Funds raised will be used to purchase a cardiovascular machine which is used to detect and monitor youth heart conditions. This machine will be marked with a plaque to honor the life of Xavier Bean.
