Laura Muir’s former coach Andy Young has been banned for 3 years due to serious misconduct.
Some of the charges against the coach included:
- abandoning athlete by the roadside
- Ignored medical advice
- manipulation and bullying
- body shaming athletes by mentioning their weight
Andy Young guided Laura Muir to World and Olympics medals.

Sad....but not completely unexpected.

Times of India reported former Florida Gator Parvej Khan has received a six-year ban from the National Anti-Doping Agency’s (NADA) Anti-Doping Disciplinary Panel (ADDP) for testing positive for the substance erythropoietin (EPO) and three whereabout failures from May 2023 to December 2023.

Khan was provisionally suspended on August 30, 2024, which came two months after winning the India national title in the men’s 1,500m.
