Happy Monday! Let’s meet Jolisa! ✨

Jolisa is originally from Hollywood Florida, and she graduated from FIU. There she worked on marine research & obtained a AAUS Scientific Diver Certification. After, she moved to the Florida Keys to work in the dive industry & learn more about boating. 🌊

In her free time she likes to hang out and be social with her friends, paddle board or spends time snorkeling!🤿

Her favorite part about working at Silent World is the experiences she’s gotten and learning more about boats & diving…and of course our amazing shop dogs! 🐶 Her favorite dive site is Carysfort Reef & the lighthouse. This iconic reef can be visited on our Icons & Secrets 3-Site Snorkel Tour.

Happy Monday! Let’s meet Liam, one of our divemasters😊

Liam is originally from Northern Virgina, and moved to Florida in 2016 to pursue a degree in Marine Biology. After graduating he found himself doing Lagoon Restoration in Melbourne FL, building oyster reefs and planting seagrass beds. Wanting to stay in the water he moved to Honduras for 2 months to get his Divemaster certification from UDC. Then he moved to the Keys to start his professional career with Silent World!

When he’s not diving he loves to hike and camp. As well as working on various projects across too many hobbies. 🦎🌲⛺️

His favorite site is North North Dry Rocks, because there is a little bit of everything there. Along with a juvenile drumfish he’s been able to watch grow up over the last few weeks. Visit this site and maybe even catch a glimpse of this little drumfish on our snorkel tours!

Emily is originally from Wisconsin and a proud cheese-head! 🧀 She moved to the Keys for diving and playing mermaids.

She owns her own jewelry business, she loves to paddle board with her cat and owns & is working on her vintage Volkswagen bus!

Her favorite thing about Silent World is working with people that genuinely all love their job and are passionate about the ocean and conservation. Her favorite site is North North Dry Rocks, which we visit on our snorkel tours!! 🪸

Did you know Key Largo is home to 1 of 3 original Christ of the Abyss statues? It’s true! This spectacular statue was placed in Key Largo Dry Rocks within the John Pennekamp State Park in 1965

Silent World visits this site almost every day on all of our snorkel tours! The statue is shallow enough that it’s incredibly accessible to snorkelers, giving everyone the chance to see one of Key Largo’s most iconic underwater landmarks.

Another Monday, another team member! This week, let’s meet Captain Jeff!

Jeff is originally from San Diego, California but moved to the Keys to be a Captain year round! ⚓️

His favorite activities outside of work basically include anything that revolves around water! If he’s not driving a boat you’ll find him surfing, fishing, or going diving! 🌊🤙🏼

His favorite part of working at Silent World is the positive environment and being able to share the joy of the ocean with our customers! His favorite dive site is Molasses Reef which we visit on our Legends 3-Site Tour!
