We are grateful to Riverland Quilters who recently donated beautiful, individually handmade quilts to Helping People Succeed’s Birth to Five programs.

These quilts are given as welcome gifts to new families as they enroll in our programs either before the birth of their baby or with their newborn and are also used to promote tummy time and floor play.

Families express how much they cherish these quilts, knowing how much time and love that went into creating them.

Thank you again to the Riverland Quilting Community in Tradition!!

Teamwork, community, and a little friendly competition were on full display during a day of kickball with United Way, Seacoast Bank interns, and participants from our Adult Day Training Program!

Each year, Seacoast Bank welcomes college interns from across its footprint to its Stuart headquarters for a week of hands-on experience, connection with leadership, and community service. As part of that experience, these talented students partner with local organizations to give back, and this year they joined us on the kickball field for an unforgettable day of connection and fun.

This event created opportunities to build relationships, practice teamwork, and strengthen community bonds. We are grateful to United Way Martin County and Seacoast Bank for investing their time and energy into creating meaningful experiences that bring people together.

Thank you to everyone who participated and made the day such a success!

☀️ Summer Camps at Helping People Succeed are officially underway!

Today marked the first day of camp, and the excitement was contagious as campers and staff kicked off a summer filled with learning, friendships, growth, and unforgettable experiences.

This year, we're proud to offer nine camps across the Treasure Coast, serving children and teens with a variety of needs and interests:

🌟 YMCA WRAP Together at Indiantown & Village Green – Inclusive programs designed to ensure all campers can participate, belong, and thrive

🌟 Social Lab – Helping teens with Autism and ADHD build confidence and strengthen social connections

🌟 Career Camp – Providing teens with disabilities hands-on exposure to potential career pathways

🌟 HKS Camp & Camp Success – Supporting children ages 5-12 with ADHD and Autism through engaging activities and skill-building experiences

In addition, campers in Social Lab, HKS Camp, and Camp Success will benefit from mental health therapists leading group activities focused on emotional wellness, social skills, and personal growth.

While camp is in full swing, our work isn't done. We are more than halfway toward our $50,000 Summer Camp Campaign goal, and we need your help to ensure every camper has access to the support, inclusion, and opportunities they deserve.

Your gift helps fund our new inclusive camp model with the YMCA at Indiantown and Village Green and creates life-changing experiences for children and teens throughout our community.

💙 Donate today by following the link: https://hpsfl.org/give-today/ or scanning the QR Code to help make summer a success for every camper.

From After-school Programming to Summer Camps

As the school year ended, our programming is transitioning from after-school care into summer camps with a continued focus on structure, safety, belonging, and skill-building.

For many children and youth, summer can bring changes in routine, increased downtime, and fewer opportunities for social connection. Our summer programs help bridge that gap by offering consistent support, engaging activities, positive peer interactions, and opportunities to practice communication, independence, emotional regulation, and social skills in a natural camp setting.

Through recreation, enrichment, community outings, workforce exploration, and inclusive programming, children and youth ages 5–21 with a documented or suspected disability or mental health diagnosis will have opportunities to build friendships, develop confidence, and stay connected to caring adults.
