Fab Girl Fitness is a space that makes women feel welcome, safe, supported and motivated when it comes to exercise. Our goal is to inspire, encourage and celebrate what our clients are achieving every day! Fab Girl Fitness isn’t just a studio– it’s also a community of fabulous women. We believe that the fitness industry has been under-serving women for years, and we are determined to help change t
hat. Women don't need to be brought to complete exhaustion, injury or ready to quit from workouts. We don't need to feel like the only reason to workout is to lose weight at all times. When we have a baby and are postpartum and recovering, our focus doesn't need to be to get our "pre-baby body" back quickly or maybe even at all. We are not something to be preyed upon by pushing damaging culture, toxic expectations, pressures and self-punishment. Fitness is not a one size fits all system and women especially have unique considerations to be taken into account when it comes to fitness and overall wellness. Our bodies are vastly different than a man’s body- we are not just smaller versions of a male like many studies in the past have been based on. We have completely different physiological differences due to different hormones - which makes a larger difference than many realize. I mean- our bodies can menstruate, grow a baby and have periods of lactation. There is a lot that makes a woman unique and deserving of receiving coaching that caters to them. Women can be and should be strong and fit by focusing on strength, endurance, mobility and flexibility to ensure a good quality of life throughout the many stages. I have spent years working with women and investing in education specifically related to women and fitness to help be the best coach I can be for my clients - I would love the opportunity to work with you and your fitness goals.
